[origin: EP0328490A2] The hanging device consists essentially of a rectangular tube (11), two end plates (12), the pins (43) of which project into the rectangular tube (11), and a number of hangers (13). The hangers (13) are inserted in insertion openings (15) of the rectangular tube (11) and can easily be swivelled from their normal position (N). A stabilising member in the form of a cylinder (33) is connected fixedly to the hanger (13). The stabilising part (33) rests on the edge (35) of the support. When the hanger (13) is swivelled, the stabilising member (33) causes the hanger to be pulled slightly out of the insertion opening (15). When the hanger (13) is released, it returns to the normal position (N) again, due to its own weight and the weight of the articles hanging on it. This hanging device allows the hangers (13) to be arranged closely adjacently. However, easy access to the articles is possible because the hangers (13) can easily be swivelled. Since they always return to the normal position again, the hanging device with the articles accommodated on it always leaves a tidy impression. <IMAGE>
