[origin: WO8900538A1] Aerosol dispensing containers have found widespread use in the packaging of fluid materials. Because these containers are maintained under super-atmospheric pressure there has typically been problems with leakage at their mounting cups. The present invention prevents leakage by providing a gasketed mounting cup (10) for an aerosol container having a rigid, substantially non-deformable, annular indent or depression (24) in the outer wall of the channel portion (18) of the mounting cup.
