Abstract (en)
The ski brake has two retractable brake mandrels, each having a brake paddle, and is arranged on a guide rail for a heel-holder, the guide rail being fixable to a ski, on the one hand, by screws and, on the other hand, by clamping claws which are fixed to the ski. In order to prevent damage to the upper ski edges in a ski brake of this type due to the brake paddles and to prevent the latter from jamming on the edges of the ski, provision is made for the clamping claws (5) to have guide surfaces (5d), at least over a partial region of their longitudinal extension, on which guide surfaces the brake paddles (3d) of the ski brake (3) can be guided at a right angle to the longitudinal axis of the ski (1). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Diese Skibremse besitzt zwei einziehbare Bremsdorne mit je einer Bremsschaufel und ist auf einer Führungsschiene für einen Fersenhalter angeordnet, wobei die Führungsschiene einerseits durch Schrauben und anderseits durch skifeste Spannpratzen an einem Ski festlegbar ist. Um bei einer solchen Skibremse eine Beschädigung der oberen Skikanten durch die Bremsschaufeln hintanzuhalten und ein Hängenbleiben derselben an den Skikanten zu verhindern, sieht die Erfindung vor, daß die Spannpratzen (5) zumindest über einen Teilbereich ihrer Längserstreckung Leitflächen (5d) aufweisen, an welchen die Bremsschaufeln (3d) der Skibremse (3) im rechten Winkel zur Längsachse des Ski (1) führbar sind.
