Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0329532A1] The invention describes an apparatus capable of distributing a detergent such as soap or the like, in particular liquid soap. The apparatus mainly, but not exclusively, belongs to the category of distributor devices of the so-called "cartridge" type, that is to say distributors in which the soap is contained in a container which is changed each time the soap which it contains is exhausted. In the distributors of known type, the said cartridge or container of liquid soap is always of the composite type given that the true and proper correct cartridge is always coupled to a distribution pump and the corresponding valve. Thanks to the distribution apparatus according to the invention, the original shape of the distributor and of the cartridge or, more precisely, of the sachet, is such that it comprises means which allow the elimination, both of the distribution pump and of the corresponding valve by substantially providing the same results. The said means are provided on the sachet, opposite the end of the latter from which the doses of detergent emerge. The sachet or "cartridge" (10) has, for this purpose, an appendage whose filling is allowed simply by the effect of gravity. First appropriate means (40) ensure the closing of the outlet end of the cartridge and second means operated by the user allow the closing of the inlet end (22) of the said appendage and the compression of the area of the appendage included between the inlet end and the outlet end. The pressure applied by the means (4) operated by the user on this area of the appendage causes the opening of the means of closure at the end and the ejection of the dose of soap. The essential function of the said first and second means is to replace the distribution pump and the corresponding valve. <IMAGE>
