The invention relates to a low-loader wagon. It is characterised in that it comprises a box structure (20), termed a "body-brace", which is notable in that it is inclined longitudinally, and: - on the one hand, in that the plates (21, 22) are regularly inclined longitudinally and, - on the other hand, in that the upper plate (21) has an axial cut-away which is open at least on the side of the large base and receives a casing of horizontal axis, constituting internally the housing (14) for encaging the stop and damping members (15) of the automatic coupling, which casing is integrally connected to the upper plate (21). L'invention concerne un wagon à plateforme surbaissée. Il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une structure en caisson (20) dite "écharpe" remarquable en ce qu'elle est inclinée longitudinalement et : - d'une part, en ce que les plaques (21, 22) sont longitudinalement régulièrement inclinées et, - d'autre part, en ce que la plaque supérieure (21) présente une découpe axiale débouchant au moins du côté de la grande base et recevant un boîtier d'axe horizontal constituant intérieurement le logement (14) d'encagement des organes (15) de butée et d'amortissement de l'attelage automatique, lequel boîtier est solidarisé à la plaque supérieure (21). Application à l'industrie du matériel ferroviaire.
