[origin: JPH01260313A] PURPOSE: To position a bundle of recording plates correctly and automatically by linking the bundle of recording plates to a record driving section when it is detected at a predetermined position by means of a sensor turning in synchronism therewith. CONSTITUTION: A bundle 6 of recording plates is set in a longitudinal guide hole 21 defined by plates 22, 23 and mounted on a hollow centering pivot 64 through a bush 7. The centering pivot 64 is fixed to a ratchet 65 coupled fixedly with the bush fixed the gear 43 of a recording mechanism. The bundle 6 of recording plates born rotatably by the centering pivot 64 is rotary driven by a clutch plate 79 which is born rotatably by a transverse member 80 movable laterally with respect to the centering pivot 64.
