Abstract (en)
In a process for coating surfaces resistant to high temperatures by the powder coating method with fluoro thermoplastics, a base coat which consists of a fluoro thermoplastic with 15 to 65% by volume of glass spheres mixed in is first applied, followed by a top coat of a fluoro thermoplastic having the same flow but without the addition of glass spheres. Metals and other surfaces resistant to high temperatures can be coated in this way without resulting in gravity- related run-off during the coating process.

Bei einem Verfahren zur Beschichtung von hochtemperaturbeständigen Oberflächen nach der Methode der Pulverbeschichtung mit Fluorthermoplasten, wird zunächst eine Grundschicht aufgetragen, die aus einem Fluorthermoplasten mit 15 bis 65 Vol.-% eingemischten Glaskugeln besteht, gefolgt von einer Deckschicht aus einem Fluorthermoplasten von gleichem Fließvermögen ohne Glaskugelzusatz. Auf diese Weise können Metalle und andere hochtemperaturbeständigen Oberflächen beschichtet werden, ohne daß es zum gravitationsbedingten Abfließen während des Beschichtungsvorganges kommt.
