[origin: EP0330048A2] In a process for coating surfaces resistant to high temperatures by the powder coating method with fluoro thermoplastics, a base coat which consists of a fluoro thermoplastic with 15 to 65% by volume of glass spheres mixed in is first applied, followed by a top coat of a fluoro thermoplastic having the same flow but without the addition of glass spheres. Metals and other surfaces resistant to high temperatures can be coated in this way without resulting in gravity- related run-off during the coating process.
