An electrical inspection-glass light for mounting on inspection-glass flange holders on containers, boilers, pipelines and the like for the purpose of simultaneously illuminating and observing operations has a light housing approximately in the shape of a circular segment or half moon, the interior of which contains a terminal compartment and an incandescent lamp compartment that is open towards the light-exit side, a cover which is matched to the shape of the light housing, at least one entry fitting into the terminal compartment, and an incandescent lamp holder for an incandescent lamp in the incandescent lamp chamber; in order to achieve a low overall height in conjunction with cost-effective production, a single combined terminal and incandescent lamp compartment, which is open and accessible only on the light-exit side, is provided in the light housing. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine elektrische Schauglas-Leuchte zur Montage auf Schauglas-Flanschfassungen an Behältern, Kesseln, Rohrleitungen und dgl. zum gleichzeitigen Beleuchten und Beobachten von Arbeitsvorgängen weist ein etwa kreisabschnitt- oder halbmondförmiges Leuchtengehäuse, dessen Innenraum einen Anschlußraum und einen zur Lichtaustrittseite offenen Glühlampenraum enthält, einen der Form des Leuchtengehäuses angepaßten Deckel, wenigstens einer Leitungseinführung in den Anschlußraum sowie eine Glühlampenfassung für eine Glühlampe in dem Glühlampenraum auf; um eine geringe Bauhöhe in Verbindung mit kostengünstiger Herstellung zu erzielen, ist in dem Leuchtengehäuse ein einziger kombinierter Anschluß- und Glühlampenraum vorgesehen, der nur auf der Lichtaustrittseite offen und zugänglich ist.
