Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0330723A2] The multi-chamber container (1) accommodates at least one chamber dividing wall (4) which is movable through both chambers and has at least one opening (8). Said opening produces a connection of the two adjacent chambers (2, 3) and interacts with a shutoff member which can be opened and closed via a ram (10) which can be operated from the outside, the chamber dividing wall (4), which is sealed off on the inside of the container, being movable through the container (1). According to the invention, the opening (8) in the chamber dividing wall (4) is provided to receive a thread of a valve spindle (23) which can be screwed in by the ram and ends at a stop (24), interacting with one side (26) of the chamber dividing wall (4), and at a valve plate (32) which is formed by a ring (32) of the rod and has a sealing effect on the opposite side (35) of the chamber dividing wall (4). The valve plate (24) and the stop (32) can be placed on their seats (27, 23) by reciprocal rotation of the rod (10) and the valve plate (32) closes the connection between the two chambers (2, 3) which is opened when the valve plates (24, 32) are raised and is formed by longitudinal grooves (28, 31) of the valve spindle (23) which extend up to the stop (24), seated at the free end of the spindle (23), and end at a distance from the valve plate (32), formed by the ring (32). <IMAGE>
