[origin: EP0330817A1] A soot blower is attached in a hinged fashion to the wall (1) of a heat exchanger, and suspended on a frame via a lever strutting. The lever strutting consists of two double-armed levers (12, 13), which are mounted in each case in a lever bearing (14, 15) and are connected to one another via a coupling hinge (17). The free end of one lever (12) is connected in a hinged fashion to the wall (1) of the heat exchanger, and the free end of the other lever (13) is connected in a hinged fashion to the soot blower.
