A ventilation appliance contains a housing, in which a fan motor (42) with a fan wheel (10) is arranged. The housing contains a pivotably mounted ventilation flap (14) in order to close or to open the air duct. The ventilation appliance is to be designed with low constructional outlay in such a manner that, with small volume and low weight, use is made possible on the roof of a conservatory or the like. It is proposed to construct the housing from a lower and an upper profiled part (2, 4), a narrow outer contour similar to a parallelogram being produced. The lower profiled part (2) contains the opening (6), through which the air is drawn in, while the ventilation flap (14) is articulated on a projecting part (16) of the upper profiled part (4). <IMAGE>

Eine Lüftungsvorrichtung enthält ein Gehäuse, in welchem ein Lüftermotor (42) mit einem Lüfterrad (10) angeordnet ist. Das Gehäuse enthält eine schwenkbar gelagerte Lüftungsklappe (14) um den Luftkanal zu schließen oder freizugeben. Die Lüftungsvorrichtung soll mit geringem konstruktivem Aufwand derart ausgebildet werden, daß bei kleinem Volumen und geringem Gewicht der Einsatz auf einem Dach eines Wintergartens oder dergleichen ermöglicht werden kann. Es wird vorgeschlagen, das Gehäuse aus einem unteren und einem oberen Profilteil (2, 4) aufzubauen, wobei eine schmale Außenkontur ähnlich einem Parallelogramm vorgegeben wird. Der untere Profilteil (2) enthält die Öffnung (6) durch welche die Luft angesaugt wird, während an einem vorstehenden Teil (16) des oberen Profilteiles (4) die Lüftungsklappe (14) angelenkt ist.
