Waveguide to fit the output side of a loudspeaker, in front of the diaphragm or in front of the mouth of a compression chamber, lying in the axis of the transducer in question and comprising a channel whose cross-section increases from its input to its output opening, which waveguide is characterised in that the output mouth opening (9) is planar and elongate, in that its channel comprises a passage (between the input mouth (11) and the output opening (9) capable of guiding the waves in a general shape resembling a sheet, and in that the shortest permitted paths in the passage(s) are all practically identical in length from the input mouth to the output mouth of the channel. <??>For use in sound systems for large areas. <IMAGE>

Guide d'onde s'adaptant à la sortie d'un haut-parleur, devant la membrane ou devant l'orifice d'une chambre de compression, suivant l'axe du transducteur considéré, et comportant un conduit s'évasant de son entrée à son aire de sortie, guide d'onde caractérisé par le fait que l'aire de l'orifice de sortie (9) est plane et oblongue, que son conduit comporte un passage (entre l'orifice d'entrée (11) et l'aire de sortie (9) propre à guider les ondes suivant une forme générale évoquant une nappe, que les chemins les plus courts permis dans le ou les passages sont tous de longueurs pratiquement identiques pour aller de l'orifice d'entrée à l'orifice de sortie du conduit.
