The actuator according to the invention comprises a tubular body (1) with a cylindrical bore (2) inside which slides a piston (3), and a device (37, 28, 28') for converting the straight-line movement of the piston (3) into a rotational movement of an operating shaft (26), housed entirely in the said bore (2) and actuated directly by the piston (3). The operating shaft (26) passes through a substantially radial orifice of the body, and the conversion device comprises a connecting rod (28, 28'), the ends of which are respectively articulated on the piston (3) and on a lever integrally connected to the operating shaft (26). <??>This actuator can serve to control a butterfly valve. <IMAGE>

L'actionneur selon l'invention comprend un corps tubulaire (1) à alésage cylindrique (2) à l'intérieur duquel coulisse un piston (3), et un dispositif de conversion (27, 28, 28') du mouvement rectiligne du piston (3) en un mouvement de rotation d'un arbre de manoeuvre (26), entièrement logé dans ledit alésage (2) et directement actionné par le piston (3). L'arbre de manoeuvre (26) passe par un orifice sensiblement radial du corps, et le dispositif de conversion comprend une bielle (28, 28'), dont les extrémités sont respectivement articulées sur le piston (3) et sur un levier solidaire de l'arbre de manoeuvre (26). Cet actionneur peut servir à la commande d'un robinet à papillon.
