[origin: EP0332000A2] The use of copolymers of acrylic and/or methacrylic acid esters of higher alcohols or alcohol cuts having at least 16 C atoms in the alcohol radical and not more than 5% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 2.5% by weight, of maleic anhydride as flow enhancers in paraffin-rich crude oils and/or petroleum fractions having normal pour points above 25 DEG C for depressing the pour points thereof to values below 15 DEG C, preferably below 10 DEG C, is described.
