[origin: EP0332035A2] In an apparatus plug having a dielectric material housing which contains externally open spring chambers in each of which a contact spring is inserted, a retaining plate being provided which is placed onto the non-elastic moulded part before the plug part is injection- moulded thereon, which retaining plate supports the contact springs in a manner corresponding to the arrangement of the spring chambers, the retaining plate (12) has a web (22), aligned in the direction of the connecting pins (11), on each of two mutually opposite edges. The webs (22) are connected to one another on their free side by means of a covering plate (20) located parallel to the retaining plate (12), in which covering plate (20) there is provided a conical perforating hole (21) coaxially with respect to each of the connecting pins (11). In consequence, the production of the plugs can be simplified and the electrical safety can be improved at the same time. <IMAGE>
