Isatinic acid anhydride or certain derivatives thereof, of general formula (I), are used as activators. R denotes one of the residues H, methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, isopropyl, n-butyl, isobutyl, propenyl, butenyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl or benzyl; X is chosen from the group methyl, methoxy, chlorine, bromine and SO3 <-> ; and n can assume the values 0,1 and 2. These compounds produce an extraordinary increase in the oxidizing action of inorganic percompounds. Preferred fields of application are oxidation, disinfection and bleaching baths.

Als Aktivatoren werden Isatosäureanhydrid oder bestimmte Derivate dieser Verbindung verwendet, die der allgemeinen Formel entsprechen: <IMAGE> Darin bedeutet R einen der Reste H, Methyl, Ethyl, n-Propyl, iso-Propyl, n-Butyl, iso-Butyl, Propenyl, Butenyl, Cyclohexyl, Phenyl oder Benzyl; X ist ausgewählt aus der Gruppe Methyl, Methoxy, Chlor, Brom und SO3<⊖>; und n kann die Werte 0,1 und 2 annehmen. Diese Verbindungen führen zu einer außergewöhnlichen Steigerung der Oxidationswirkung anorganischer Perverbindung. Bevorzugte Einsatzgebiete sind Oxidations-, Desinfektions- und Bleichflotten.
