[origin: JPH01275084A] PURPOSE: To enable a change-over from one operation mode to the other without executing any specific change-over operation to obtain a different paper path by providing rotatably a switch body for selecting from two paper paths having a common passage area at a downstream side of a printer in a housing. CONSTITUTION: When an eccentric body 30 is disposed at an illustrated position, a rotary lever 22 rotates clockwise, a driving roller 25 is released from the engagement with a driving wheel 12a, and there is no transporting an endless paper. At the same time, a switching body 17 moves rightward about a central portion 16 via a lever arm end portion 23a, and an individual paper is sent to the inside of a partition wall 36 after passing through the left-hand side of the switching body. When the eccentric body 30 is rotated 180 degrees about a central portion 30a, the rotary lever 22 rotates counterclockwise, the driving roller 25 is brought into engagement with the driving wheel 12a, and at the same time, the switching body 17 is moved leftward by means of a rod body 20, a transport path for the endless paper is formed on the right-hand side of the switching body 17, and the endless paper is fed out of the housing.

Bei einer Büromaschine, z.B. einem Drucker, mit einem Endlospapiertransport (38) über einen Traktor (12) und einem Einzelpapiertransport über Antriebsrollen soll auf einfache Weise eine Möglichkeit zur Umschaltung von einer Betriebsart auf die andere geschaffen werden. Dies erfolgt gemäß der Erfindung durch einen gehäusefest gelagerten zweiarmigen Drehhebel (22), der einerseits mit einer Papierweiche (17) zur Umlenkung des Papierweges und andererseits mit dem Antrieb des Traktors (12) derart zwangsgekoppelt ist, daß bei einem Ein- und Auskuppeln des Traktorantriebes für den Endlospapiertransport (38) gleichzeitig eine Umschaltung der Weiche (17) erfolgt.
