Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a ladle for transporting a liquid product such as liquid metal. The ladle comprises a casing (1) with thermally-insulating walls and a cover (2), for closing the said casing, which is provided with orifices permitting achievement of the functions such as the filling, preheating and flue-venting of the ladle, it being possible for each one to be closed off by a closing-off cap. It is characterised in that the cover (2) for closing the casing (1) is provided with an orifice (14) which can be closed off by a cap (15), which is located close to the periphery of the cover and whose axis is tilted relative to the horizontal plane so as to permit skimming of all the surface of the liquid metal contained in the ladle. The invention may be used for transporting liquid metals over large distances. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne une poche de transport d'un produit liquide tel que du métal liquide. La poche comprend une carcasse (1) à parois thermiquement isolantes et un couvercle (2) de fermeture de ladite carcasse qui est pourvu d'orifices permettant d'accomplir des fonctions telles que le remplissage, le préchauffement et de cheminée de la poche, chacun étant obturable par un chapeau d'obturation. Elle est caractérisée en ce que le couvercle (2) de fermeture de la carcasse (1) est pourvu d'un orifice (14) obturable par un chapeau (15), qui est situé prés de la périphérie du couvercle et dont l'axe est incliné par rapport au plan horizontal de façon à permettre un écumage de toute la surface du métal liquide contenu dans la poche. L'invention est utilisable pour transporter des métaux liquides sur des grandes distances.
