[origin: EP0332605A2] A protective garment ventilation device has a small portable container 1 in which a fan 9 is arranged, which is driven by an electric motor 10. The suction side 13 of the fan 9 is provided with filter connections 3, and the delivery side 13 with connectors 14, 15 for connecting lines to the protective garment. <??>The connectors 14, 15 are adjustable by means of a rotary slide valve which has a flexible disc 20 and a handle 22. <??>In addition, a connector 23 is provided for a respiratory mask, through which, owing to a diaphragm 20, a smaller volume of air will flow than through the unregulated connector 14 or 15. <IMAGE>
