[origin: WO8803596A1] A system for the control of subsea extraction of a liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon product from a well head on the sea bed in which the product is extracted under the control of valve systems contained in a christmas tree (3) located over and secured to the well head and is then fed via a pipeline to a remote terminal. The christmas tree is controlled and monitored by a control module package (10) which forms the end termination to an umbilical U4 supplying power from and transmitting signals to and from said remote terminal. The control module package (10) is physically connected to the christmas tree (3) underwater by engaging the complementary end terminations (12) and (13) and forms the sole power and signal path connection between the christmas tree and the remote terminal. Guide means (15, 16) and optical or acoustic sensors (17) may be provided to assist in aligning the terminations (12) and (13) during their interconnection.

Dans un système qui sert à commander l'extraction sous-marine d'un produit d'hydrocarbures liquides ou gazeux à partir d'une tête de puits au fond de la mer, ledit produit est extrait par régulation de plusieurs systèmes de soupape contenus dans un arbre de Noël (3) placé sur la tête de puits à laquelle il est fixé et le produit est ensuite acheminé via le pipeline vers un terminal. L'arbre de Noël est commandé et contrôlé par une unité de modules de commande (10) qui forme la terminaison extrême d'un tuyau ombilical (U4) qui fournit de l'énergie à partir du terminal et qui transmet des signaux en direction et en provenance dudit terminal. L'unité de module de commande (10) est physiquement connectée à l'arbre de Noël (3) sous l'eau par engagement des terminaisons extrêmes complémentaires (12 et 13) et forme la seule connexion pour le cheminement de l'alimentation et des signaux entre l'arbre de Noël et le terminal. Des organes de guidage (15, 16) et des détecteurs optiques ou acoustiques (17) peuvent être prévus pour faciliter l'alignement des terminaisons (12 et 13) pendant leur interconnexion.
