Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0332804A2] The fast binder has binding strips (2) which are made of elastically flexible material, are pulled through perforations (3) in the paper (4) and are held in slots (5, 5') in a counter-holder (6). Two slots (5, 5'), which are closed on both sides, are arranged in the counter-holder (6) at a certain distance (a) from each other which is dimensioned such that the binding strip (2) is not clamped, but is guided, running loosely. This design allows filed paper to be held on the binding strips in a secure manner without a separate fixing operation for the binding strips, but without the free length of the binding strips pulled through the perforations in the paper being limited to a certain size, as is the case in all other known fast binders. <IMAGE>
