The device for supporting persons contains a lower structure (4) and a lying surface which is mounted thereon and is subdivided into swivellable partial rests for the head (8), the upper part of the body (10), the buttocks/thighs (12) and lower legs (14). The device is characterised by at least one segment arc (2) which is mounted swivellably on the lower structure (4); at least one support element (6) which is fastened by its one end to an end region of the segment arc (2) and is attached by its other end in the central region of the resting surface (10) for the upper part of the body; and at least one rocker (16) which is attached by its one end in the other end region of the associated segment arc (2) and by its other end to or near to the swivel axle (22) between the rest (12) for the buttocks/thighs and the rest (14) for the lower legs; the rest (12) for the buttocks/thighs being connected to the rest (10) for the upper part of the body via a swivel axle (24) and the rest (10) for the upper part of the body being connected to the rest (8) for the head via a swivel axle (26). <IMAGE>

Ein Gerät zum Lagern von Personen enthält ein Untergestell (4) und eine darauf gelagerte Liegefläche, die in verschwenkbare Teilauflagen für Kopf (8), Oberkörper (10), Gesäß/Oberschenkel (12) und Unterschenkel (14) unterteilt ist. Das Gerät ist gekennzeichnet durch mindestens einen Segmentbogen (2), der schwenkbar auf dem Untergestell (4) gelagert ist; mindestens ein Stützelement (6), das mit seinem einen Ende an einem Endbereich des Segmentbogena (2) befestigt ist und das mit seinem anderen Ende im Mittelbereich der Oberkörperauflagefläche (10) angelenkt ist; und mindestens eine Wippe (16), die mit ihrem einen Ende im anderen Endbereich des dazugehörigen Segmentbogens (2) angelenkt und mit ihrem anderen Ende an oder in der Nähe der Schwenkachse (22) zwischen der Gesäß/Oberschenkelauflage (12) und der Unterschenkelauflage (14) angelenkt ist; wobei die Gesäß/Oberschenkelauflage (12) über eine Schwenkachse (24) mit der Oberkörperauflage (10) und die Oberkörperauflage (10) über eine Schwenkachse (26) mit der Kopfauflage (8) verbunden ist.
