Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0332866A2] Three flat current distributors (1, 2, 3) are produced by stamping from a flat plate, on which current distributors there are in each case formed a large number of lugs (5, 6, 7), which are bent through 90 DEG . The earth-current distributor (1) is angled in a stepped manner in its part which has no lugs (5) and is then offset upwards by the height of this step, and is inserted into an injection mould together with the other current distributors (2, 3), whose position is unchanged after stamping out, in which injection mould all the current distributors (1, 2, 3) have plastic material injected around them, which plastic material forms a final housing part of the socket, in which housing part the current distributors are located at a small distance from one another because of the insulation by means of the plastic material, and the lugs (5) of the earth-current distributor (1) stand higher than all the other lugs (6, 7) because of the offset by the said step. In consequence, contact sockets (16) of the same design can be plugged onto all the lugs (5, 6, 7) by means of a spring (17) connected to the said contact sockets. The process allows highly economic, cost-effective manufacture, which can be automated. <IMAGE>
