Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH0235179A] PURPOSE: To facilitate mounting, removal, positioning and adjustment of a sliding door by providing a fitting with both a longitudinal groove which allows a mating coupling element to be introduced into the rear recess and lateral groove, which extends therefrom and opens laterally. CONSTITUTION: Mounting and removal are effected, without the need for a lateral clearance by simply introducing the head 7a of a mating coupling element 7 into an opening 4 in a fitting 1 and inserting it into a longitudinal groove 3 to cause upward movement and longitudinal sliding of a door 2. A lateral groove 5, connected to the rear of the groove 3 and opening to each side and a recess A opening upward toward the coupling element 7, are provided, and lateral positioning of the coupling element 7 is achieved by causing the rear section of the groove 3 and the upper section of the groove 5 to abut a lug 5". Further, an edge and a cutout 6 are provided respectively at the head 7a of the coupling element 7 and the groove 5 and are adjusted, simply by moving the coupling element 7 laterally.
