Für einen Warenautomaten zur Ausgabe von quaderförmigen Warenpackungen, die in horizontalen Warenstapeln angeordnet sind, wird eine Ausgabevorrichtung vorgeschlagen, die die zur Ausgabe vorgesehene vorderste Warenpackung durch Umkippen der Packung vom Warenstapel trennt, wobei der übrige Warenstapel festgehalten wird. Dabei ist weiterhin vorgesehen, daß die Warenpackung beim Umkippen auf eine Schräge fällt, von der sie durch ihr Eigengewicht herunterrutscht und zur Ausgabeöffnung des Warenautomaten gelangt. Es wird ferner vorgeschlagen, daß die Ausgabevorrichtung mit fortschreitender Warenausgabe dem Warenstapel nachgeführt wird, oder daß der Warenstapel auf die Ausgabevorrichtung zu bewegbar ist. Die Ausgabevorrichtung ist auf horizontalen Führungsschienen angeordnet und es können innerhalb einer Warenzeile mehrere Ausgabevorrichtungen vorgesehen sein.
