Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0333066A1] A shovel loader has a loading unit (3) which is arranged centrally on the front part and which has linked to its lifting arm (4) a lifting cylinder (14) supported on the front part, a tipping rocker (17) and at the front end a quick-changing device (7) which is connected in an articulated manner via a tipping rod to the tipping rocker (17), which can be actuated by a tipping cylinder (13). In order to reduce tilting moments about the transverse axis of the vehicle, the vehicle-side end of the lifting arm (4) engages in a channel-like recess (6), open to the front, of the front part (1). The tipping cylinder (13) is also linked to the front part (1). The lifting arm (4) is designed as a narrow component so that, as viewed from above, it finds space together with the quick-changing device in the fully lowered position between steerable front wheels (9), only the quick-changing device (7), as viewed from the side, projecting slightly downwards beyond the intermediate space between the wheels. <IMAGE>
