[origin: EP0333124A2] For the banknotes or printed documents provided in separate functional units, each unit has its own transport device (8, 10-9, 10) with an associated dispensing slot (11, 12). The two transport devices are controlled via a common drive (M) in such a way that, at any one time, transport to the respective associated dispensing slot (11, 12) takes place in only one of the two transport devices.
