[origin: EP0333152A2] The subject of the invention is a torsion-proof frame for railway goods waggons with longitudinal and transverse carriers in which a plurality of torsion-proof longitudinal carriers (6-9) are coupled to one another by means of a plurality of dimensionally rigid transverse carriers (10a-10d). Preferably, four longitudinal carriers are provided with the cross-section of a closed box profile, two of these four longitudinal carriers forming the lateral delimitation of the frame as external longitudinal carriers (6, 7) and ending at inner transverse carriers (10a, 10b) in the region of the running gears, whilst inner longitudinal carriers (8, 9) end at external transverse carriers (10c, 10d) in the region of the running gears. <IMAGE>
