The material can be wound in the form of a wheel and consists of a network of flat textile bands (2, 3) interlaced and fastened to one another in the common interlacing zones (5), said zones (5) being substantially in the same plane corresponding to the plane of the soil to be reinforced; some stiffened bands (3) are twisted between two consecutive interlacing zones (5). <IMAGE>

Le matériau est enroulable sous forme d'une bobine , et constitué d'un réseau de bandes textiles plates (2,3) entrecroisées et fixées les unes aux autres dans les zones communes (5) d'entrecroisement, lesdites zones (5) étant sensiblement dans un même plan correspondant au plan du sol à renforcer ; certaines bandes (3) rigidifiées sont torsadées entre deux zones consécutives d'entrecroisement (5).
