Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH01299916A] PURPOSE: To lift an excavator while destroying concrete sticking to a guide rail by lifting the excavator via guide wheels for interposingly pressing the guide rail fixed to an end surface of a preceding underground continuous wall, and forming the guide wheels in a projecting shape. CONSTITUTION: An underground continuous wall excavating mechanism is basically composed of a guide rail 5 fixed to a frame 8 installed on an end surface of a preceding underground continuous wall panel 9 and an excavation body lifted along the guide rail 5. This excavation body is formed of an upper structure 3 and a pair of lower excavation drums 2. The upper structure 3 has upper/ lower two sets of movable guide assemblies 11, 12 having a pair of upper/lower guide wheels 13, 14 arranged so as to interposingly press the guide rail 5 from both sides. The upper or lower guide wheel of the respective guide assemblies is formed in a projecting shape so as to destroy concrete sticking to the guide rail.
