Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8804466A1] Electromagnetic relay comprising a switching contact (20) which is pivoted from the rest position to the operating position by a snap-element (18) when the relay is actuated. In order to achieve a specific contact pressure on the switching contact (20) when the snap-element (18) is applied, the operating contact (24) is provided with an excursion region (35) on the contact support (25). Simple, rapid and precise adjustment of the working contact (24) is made possible by the fact that the contact support (25) consists, in the direction of movement of the snap anchor (18), of three bars (29, 30, 31) which extend at a distance from one another, ending in a joint yoke (32), and of which the centre bar (30) carries the angled operating contact (24) and is connected on both sides by symmetrically arranged connection pieces (33, 34) with the two external bars (29, 31). The excursion region (35) for axial shifting of the operating contact (24) is located on the central arm (30) between the yoke (32) and the connection pieces (33, 34).
