[origin: EP0333911A2] The packing 1 for, preferably, several containers 7, in particular cans of paint, has an elongate shape to accommodate the containers 7, arranged one after the other in a row, and has retaining means for fixing the containers 7 in their position within the packing 1. The arrangement is such that the retaining means consist in each case of fixing tabs 8 which are assigned to one container 7, are arranged non- displaceably within the packing 1 and, when the packing 1 is closed, engage in the depressed lid 9 of each container 7 to fix it in its position.
