Die Erfindung betrifft einen Steckstift aus einem Blechstanzteil mit einem Crimpbereich und einem Kontaktbereich sowie einem Übergangsbereich zwischen dem Crimp- und dem Kontaktbereich, gekennzeichnet durch einen hohlzylindrischen Basisbereich und einen rundstiftförmigen hohlzylindrischen Kontaktbereich mit einer kegelrundspitzförmigen Spitze sowie einem kurzen zylindrischen Übergangsbereich zwischen Crimpbereich und Basisbereich, wobei der Außendurchmesser des Basisbereichs größer ist als der Außendurchmesser des Kontaktbereichs und des Übergangsbereichs und der Außendurchmesser des Übergangsbereichs größer ist als der Außendurchmesser des Kontaktbereichs. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Rundsteckhülse, insbesondere für das Zusammenstecken mit einem Steckstift, mit einem Crimpbereich, einem kurzen zylindrischen Übergangsbereich und einem sich anschließenden Kontaktbereich, wobei der Kontaktbereich eine zylindrische Federarmbasis aufweist, an deren vorderem Ende zwei sich gegenüberliegende Federarme angebunden sind, und daß auf der Federarmbasis eine Überfeder mit einer Überfederarmbasis lagert, deren Überfederarme sich im vorderen Endbereich der Federarme abstützen.
