[origin: EP0334017A2] A humidifer (10) with a water tank (12), at least one evaporator block (13) as well as a fan wheel (14) which is rotatable about a vertical axis and by means of which room air is drawn through the evaporator block (13) and after absorbing humidity is conducted back into the room, has a water supply pipe (16) which extends with its lower open end as far as into the water tank (12) and widens conically upwards. This water supply pipe (16) is connected to the fan wheel (14) and rotatable together with it. Via water outlet openings (18) and a centrifugal disc (17) in the upper end region of the water supply pipe, water is supplied to the evaporator blocks (13) so that the room air, which is preheated by means of heating aggregates (20), can absorb a great deal of humidity on passing through the evaporator blocks (13) and can correspondingly enrich the room air with humidity. <IMAGE>
