Bookbinding. <??>Machine for binding, by stitching, stacks of sheets, characterised in that it comprises: - a removable cover (25) supported by the stand, covering the aligned stations and defining, for the carriage, a long through window (27) parallel to the pass and of a length corresponding to the reciprocating travel of said carriage, - a flexible belt (28) attached and tensioned either side of the carriage, being wider than the window and guided along the stand so that part of itself constantly closes off the window either side of the carriage by extending in a plane subjacent to the window and superposed over the stations. <??>Application to sewing machines. <IMAGE>

- Reliure. - Machine à relier, par brochage, des liasses de feuilles, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend : .un capotage (25) amovible porté par le bâti, recouvrant les postes alignés et délimitant, pour le chariot, une fenêtre (27) de passage allongée, parallèle à la voie et dont la longueur correspond à la course alternative dudit chariot, .une bande (28), souple, fixée et tendue de part et d'autre du chariot, de largeur supérieure à celle de la fenêtre et guidée sur le bâti pour qu'une partie d'elle-même ferme toujours la fenêtre de part et d'autre du chariot en s'étendant dans un plan sous-jacent à la fenêtre et superposé aux postes. - Application aux machines à brocher.
