New ear-ring, of the oval, circular or semi-oval type, essentially characterized in that it is reversible, presenting two use positions of a different aspect, owing to the provision on both opposite faces of the ear-ring, of a distinct design or configuration (2, 3), one or the other face being visible by rotation of the ear-ring by 180 DEG in one or the other direction, in that this ear-ring includes a blocking device which allows its use indistinctly in one or the other direction, in order to present different images or designs, this blocking device being made of a hinge (6) arranged in the internal upper portion of one of the faces of the ear-ring, and into which a transversal rod (4) provided to this end enters under pressure, this rod presenting a suitable groove (5) at its end, this groove being intended to lodge itself in another groove provided in the hinge, which facilitates the closing or opening by means of a suitable manual pressure.
