Double glazing consisting of two panes of glass separated by an air gap and assembled by a combination of two plastic seals, the inside seal being extruded in the form of a bead and the peripheral seal wholly or partly filling the groove defined by the glass panes and the bead which carries on its face in contact with the peripheral seal a projection and/or a groove for reciprocal anchoring of the two seals. <??>The invention applies particularly to the making of double glazing for motor vehicles. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un vitrage isolant constitué de deux feuilles de verre espacées par une lame d'air intercalaire et assemblées par un ensemble de deux joints d'étanchéité en matière plastique, le joint intérieur étant extrudé sous forme de cordon et le joint périphérique comblant tout ou partie de la gorge délimitée par les feuilles de verre et le cordon qui comporte sur sa face en contact avec le joint périphérique une excroissance et/ou une rainure pour un ancrage réciproque des deux joints. L'invention s'applique notamment à la réalisation de vitrages isolants pour véhicules automobiles.
