In a housing for a vacuum switch, the insulating ceramic body is assembled from two cylinder halves (1, 2). At the separating point (3), these halves are recessed to form an inner slot (4). A metallic screen, which consists of two parts (5, 5a) and surrounds the switch contacts, projects into this slot for attachment to its mutually facing ends (6, 6a). <??>For the purposes of good installation and easy centring of the ceramic body, the invention provides that the ends (6, 6a) of the screen be designed with axial sections, which project into the slot and can be plugged into one another, and exhibit centring lugs (9, 9a, 9b) from the externally located end (6). <??>The invention allows for the ceramic bodies to operate without additional centring devices. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Vakuumschaltkammer ist der isolierende Keramikkörper aus zwei Zylinderhälften (1, 2) zusammengesetzt. An der Trennstelle (3) sind diese Hälften zur Bildung einer Innennut (4) ausgenommen. Ein metallischer, aus zwei Teilen (5, 5a) bestehender, die Schaltkontakte umgebender Schirm ragt zur Befestigung mit seinen einander zugewandten Enden (6, 6a) in diese Nut. Zum Zwecke einer guten Montage sowie einer einfachen Zentrierung des Keramikkörpers sieht die Erfindung vor, die Enden (6, 6a) des Schirmes mit axialen, in die Nut ragenden, ineinander steckbaren Abschnitten auszuführen und vom außenliegenden Ende (6) Zentrierlaschen (9, 9a, 9b) auszustellen. Die Erfindung erlaubt es, ohne zusätzliche Zentriervorrichtungen für die Keramikkörper zu arbeiten.
