A process for upholstering a mattress core (3), wherein a cover (1, 4) is placed in each case on the upper side and below the underside of the core, the edges of which cover are pulled towards one another and connected to one another over the side surfaces of the core. According to the invention, the connection of the covers is effected via separate connection means (10) which are subsequently covered by a side surface cover. By this means, on the one hand the forces, occurring during use of the mattress, are readily absorbed and, on the other hand, the mattress according to the invention is given a satisfactory appearance, especially as the side surface cover is applied separately from the actual connection means and can consist of correspondingly attractive material. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren zum Beziehen eines Matratzenkerns (3), wobei auf die Oberseite und unter die Unterseite des Kerns jeweils ein Bezug (1, 4) aufgelegt wird, deren Ränder über die Seitenflächen des Kerns zueinander gezogen und miteinander verbunden werden. Erfindungsgemäss erfolgt die Verbindung der Bezüge über gesonderte Verbindungsmittel (10), die anschließend mit einem Seitenflächenbezug abgedeckt werden. Dadurch werden zum einen die bei der Benutzung der Matratze entstehenden Kräfte gut aufgenommen und zum anderen erhält die erfindungsgemässe Matratze ein einwandfreies Aussehen, insbesondere weil der Seitenflächenbezug getrennt von den eigentlichen Verbindungsmitteln aufgebracht wird und aus entsprechend ansprechendem Material bestehen kann.
