[origin: EP0335855A2] The holder (3) for fixing a covering profile (1) or the like to a support (2) consists of a holding piece (5) which can be attached in a rotatable manner to a fixing screw (4), which piece (5) forms a lower, collar-like bearing part (6) with a tool attachment and an upper, hammerhead-like locking part (7) adapted to an abutment (1a) of the profile (1) which is in the form of a T-groove, while leaving a clamping gap (8). To achieve an efficient assembly and a good fit of the profiles, the hammer-like projections constituting the locking part (7) comprise resilient edge tabs (9) which slope down towards the bearing part (6). <IMAGE>
