[origin: EP0335860A1] The invention relates to an emergency actuation device for a vehicle door actuated by means of a non-self-locking electrical drive (1, 2, 3, 4). In such doors, the connection between the door drive and the door mechanism (5, 6) is made self-locking at least in the final closing region of the door. According to the invention, to make emergency actuation easier, there is provision for ensuring that, as is known per se, there is arranged in the region of the final closing position of the door mechanism a slide (12) which acts on the door drive (11) in the direction of its opening movement and the displacement travel of which is greater than the self-locking region of the door mechanism. According to the invention, however, the slide is held by a holding device (13) in its position corresponding to the final closing position of the door, the holding device being releasable by hand. <IMAGE>
