Zum besseren Ausgleich der Gewichtsverteilung eines menschlichen Körpers sind die Rostlatten (14, 15) an ihren Enden im Bereich der Längsrahmenteile mittels je einer Kolben-Zylinderanordnung (16) an den Längsrahmenteilen aufgelagert. Die hydraulisch oder pneumatisch wirksamen Räume der Kolben-Zylinderanordnungen (16) stehen hierzu untereinander in hydraulischer oder pneumatischer Verbindung. Un lit comprend un cadre, similaire à un caisson, formé de parties longitudinales (12) reliées à des parties transversales et des lattes (14, 15) agencées sur les parties longitudinales du cadre sur lesquelles un matelas peut être posé. Afin de mieux équilibrer la répartition du poids du corps d'une personne, les lattes (14, 15) sont montées sur les parties longitudinales du cadre sur un mécanisme (16) à piston et à cylindre agencé à leurs extrémités, au niveau des parties longitudinales du cadre.
