[origin: WO8904012A1] The installation according to the invention comprises a network of rails of which all the sections are power-supplied to the same potential and an assembly of pallets intended to circulate throuout said network. Each pallet (10) comprises a platform (11) fitted with four boggies (12) driven by at least one electric motor (13). Each pallet comprises a control unit (15) which includes its intelligence and which controls an anticollision device (18) of the elements (16 and 17) arranged to tap off the electric power vehicled by the network, and a sensor (19) which detects the presence or the absence of an external signal emitted by a node of the network.

L'installation selon l'invention comporte un réseau de rails dont tous les tronçons sont alimentés en énergie électrique au même potentiel et un ensemble de palettes destinées à circuler sur ce réseau. Chaque palette (10) comporte une plate-forme (11) équipée de quatre boggies (12) entraînés par au moins un moteur électrique (13). Chaque palette comporte une unité de commande (15) qui constitue son intelligence et qui commande un dispositif anticollision (18) des éléments (16) et (17) agencés pour prélever l'énergie électrique véhiculée par le réseau, et un capteur (19) conçu pour détecter la présence ou l'absence d'un signal extérieur émis par un noeud du réseau.
