[origin: EP0336008A1] A catch-fence arrangement for catching articles carried by the wind, such as sheets of paper and plastic, in particular in rubbish dumps or the like is provided. It consists of a solid block, in particular a concrete block (15), which is of flat shape and whose bottom side at the edge of the rubbish dump is transportable and can be anchored at a suitable place. The solid block carries, preferably pivotably, a mast arrangement (20) which, at its top end, supports one edge of a net (13) which, at the bottom end, is anchored in the ground via pegs (32). By loosening the pegs (32) and the tension of the net (13), and also by loosening the anchorage of the solid block, it is possible to change the position of the arrangement simply and quickly even on slopes, so that the protective effect is maintained to a considerable degree even during the rearrangement. <IMAGE>
