Abstract (en)
The refuse vehicle comprises a refuse-collecting container which is situated on a chassis behind the driver's cab and is provided with a refuse-filling system incorporating a refuse-compressing device, in order to press the refuse in a direction of action through a container opening into the refuse-collecting container. The direction of action of the refuse-compressing device runs obliquely from the front/bottom upwards/rearwards towards the ceiling of the refuse-collecting container and a projection, which causes a reduction in the cross-section of the container opening, is provided on the floor of the refuse-collecting container in the region of said opening. As a result of the chosen direction of action, the refuse can be compressed in the region of the overall cross-section of the refuse-collecting container and against the ceiling at an early stage, resulting in optimum utilisation of the overall volume of the refuse-collecting container. The projection on the floor of the refuse-collecting container furthermore prevents undesired discharge of the refuse through the container opening. <IMAGE>

Müllsammelfahrzeug (10) mit einem auf einem Fahrgestell hinter dem Fahrerhaus befindlichen Müllsammelbehälter (16) mit einer Mülleinfüllanlage (18), die eine Müllverdichtungseinrichtung (20, 22) umfaßt, um den Müll in einer Wirkungsrichtung durch eine Behälteröffnung in den Müllsammelbehälter zu drücken. Die Wirkungsrichtung (A) der Müllverdichtungseinrichtung (20, 22) verläuft schräg von vorne/unten nach oben/hinten auf die Deckenwand (50) des Müllsammelbehälters zu, und im Bereich der Behälteröffnung (62) ist am Boden (38) des Müllsammelbehälters ein Vorsprung (56) vorgesehen, durch den die Behälteröffnung in ihrem Querschnitt verringert wird. Durch die gewählte Wirkungsrichtung kann der Müll im Bereich des gesamten Querschnittes des Müllsammelbehälters sowie bereits frühzeitig gegen die Deckenwand verdichtet werden, wodurch eine optimale Ausnutzung des gesamten Volumens des Müllsammelbehälters ermöglicht wird. Der Vorsprung am Boden des Müllsammelbehälters verhindert ferner ein unerwünschtes Austreten des Mülls durch die Behälteröffnung.
