[origin: EP0336136A1] A screwdriver bit (1) comprises a terminal drive end region (11) which can be inserted in a chuck (13) of a machine, an intermediate section (10), and a drive region (screwdriver tip section) (9) preferably for recessed-head screws. To facilitate use, the intermediate section (10) forms a T region such that an elastic return force extending over a large reverse angle of rotation is exerted until the torque which results in plastic deformation/rupture is obtained.
