[origin: EP0336810A1] The invention relates to a container (1) comprising an improved humidifier. The container (1) comprises a trough (8) containing water (9) which evaporates in order to humidify the air of the container (1). In the event of use of a refrigerated container, the water vapour condenses and solidifies forming frost on an evaporator (4). Advantageously, the defrost water is used to rehumidify the air of the container (1) by making this water follow a path comprising overhangs and negative inclinations. The unevaporated defrost water is either added to the reservoir (8) or discarded to the outside. <??>The invention applies mainly to the humidification of containers. <??>The invention applies in particular to the humidification of refrigerated containers such as for example containers intended for the storage, preservation and ageing of wine in bottles. The invention also applies to refrigerated containers for storage of foodstuffs or of photosensitive materials such as, for example, photographic films or photosensitive paper. <IMAGE>
