Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH0276915A] PURPOSE: To provide a quickly adjustable stop by making the outer peripheral length of an inner tube equal to the peripheral length of the periphery of a sleeve, and making the peripheral length of an outer tube equal to the outer peripheral length of the sleeve, and fitting the sleeve into the outer and inner tubes. CONSTITUTION: An adjustable stop is provided with a cylindrical sleeve 1 in which a circular upper end surface 2 forms a stopping surface, and an inner tube 5 and outer tube 6 which are arranged coaxially in relation to the sleeve. When a cross-section of at least each sleeve and a part of a housing is shown, the inner tube 6 has the same outer peripheral length as the peripheral length of the inner periphery of the sleeve, and the outer tube 5 has the same inner peripheral length as the outer peripheral length of the sleeve. Then just as the sleeve is fitted into the tubes, a housing 3 provided on a first element 4, for example, equivalent to a car body, as a supporting device, its inner tube and clamping rod 7 attached to the inner periphery of the inner tube 6 of the housing, which has a clamping position providing device which applies radial stress for clamping the sleeve to the sleeve 1, and a device for supporting the housing 3 at its position, are provided.
