Abstract (en)
The cleaning device consists of a brush (4) which is pressure- loaded. A plate (1) above the brush is fastened to one end of an arm (2) which is held by a cross bar inserted into the arm (2). The device serves to clean the treads of the steps (S1 -S3) of a moving escalator. In this arrangement, the cross bar (6) is supported on the ends of the escalator side pieces (W). The device can operate without any auxiliary power. <IMAGE>

Das Reinigungsgerät besteht aus einer Bürste (4), die durch Druck belastet ist. Eine Platte (1) über der Bürste ist an einem Ende eines Armes (2) befestigt, der durch einen in den Arm (2) eingesteckten Querstab gehalten wird. Das Gerät dient zum Reinigen der Trittflächen der Stufen (S1-S3 ) einer sich bewegenden Rolltreppe. Der Querstab (6) stützt sich dabei an den Enden der Treppenwangen (W) ab. Das Gerät kann ohne jede Zusatzenergie arbeiten.
